Maiora Renewable Energy Pte Ltd (“MRE”) is a Singapore based renewable energy developer and IPP. It was founded by the partners of Maiora Asset Management Pte Ltd (“MAM”) which has been investing in and developing renewable energy projects around the globe for nearly a decade.
The MRE team started its development business 2013 in Japan, successfully sourcing, financing, developing and exiting 4 utility Scale PV plants with a combined capacity of nearly 200 MW in conjunction with its funding partner MAM. MRE is the exclusive developer for MAM’s second fund, focussing on Taiwan with a current pipeline of > 600 MW in addition to financing and developing projects on its own balance sheet in Asia.
MRE has offices in Tokyo, Singapore, Madrid and Taipei in addition to a planned Manila office in 2022. The firm employs a team of over 40 professionals with a combined experience of over 120 years in renewable energy development and investment. It’s engineers and project managers have worked on over 14GW projects around the globe in the last 2+ decades.
