A Singapore logistics company has newly been signed up as a highly appreciated client who will enjoy significant electricity cost savings through Maiora Renewable Energy’s solar leasing arrangement. The client is a logistics solution provider providing services to the marine, oil and gas, and coal industries in Singapore and Indonesia with a local facility in Balikpapan, Indonesia. More than 1,050 solar panels will be installed by May 2020 to generate over 550MWh of sustainable solar energy every year.

The client is a renowned manufacturer of high-quality steel and non-steel building solutions, providing a comprehensive range of products and turnkey solutions. They are affiliated with established and reputed companies such as Germany’s, Kalzip GmbH and Fischer Profil GmbH, and Taiwan’s Yieh Phui Enterprise. A huge number of 1,360 solar panels will help to make the clients facility a net generating facility which will export excess solar energy to the power grid.

Singapore Project II

Maiora Renewable Energy is excited to work with a Singaporean Marine Supply Company to supply sustainable solar energy to its new facility in the West of Singapore. The client is acknowledged as an established distributor and exporter, servicing the marine, off-shore and oil and gas industries in Singapore and the global market. Over 850 solar panels have been installed through which the facility is powered almost solely with solar energy.

Singapore Project I

Maiora Renewable Energy has completed the installation of its rooftop solar project with a major waste management service provider in Singapore. The PV system comprises of 1,216 x 375Watt solar panels installed over 4,400sqm of roof space. Maiora’s 456 kWp installation is estimated to generate around 582,000kWh per year and saving the client over $125,000 per year in electricity bills. The Solar PV system is designed with full compliance to relevant regulations in Singapore, including SCDF and the Energy Market Authority.

Philippines Project II

Maiora Renewable Energy has signed a rooftop solar lease agreement with a leading provider of logistics, storage and distribution solutions, with a network of cold chain facilities. The company services the food and manufacturing sector. Efficiency, health and safety, as well as care for the environment are primary commitments of the company.​ A total of 2,805 PV modules have been installed across 4 different facilities with a combined capacity of over 1,094kWp.

Philippines Project I

Maiora Renewable Energy has signed a rooftop solar lease agreement with a significant manufacturer in the Philippines. The system design comprises of 1,326 x 385Watt solar panels situated across approximately 4000 sq.m of roof space. Maiora’s 510 kW installation is estimated to generate around 650,000kWh per annum based on historical climate data and saving the client over $125,000 per year in electricity bills. Maiora made sure that the project strictly followed the Philippine Electric Code guidelines for the connection of Embedded Generation within distribution networks.

2015 & 2016 : Acquired the golf course through a bankruptcy proceeding and shut it down.  Designed and engineered plant and acquired  necessary development permits.

2017 : EPC & Financing contracts negotiated, project achieves NTP

2019 : Project reaches COD and begins selling power under the FIT. Project sold to Itochu-Enex

Marzio Keiling

Director

Marzio is a Director of MRE and a Founding Partner at Maiora Asset management, MRE's strategic funding partner. Prior to his involvement in Renewables, Marzio was Head of Sales for Deutsche Bank in APAC. Previous to that, he ran Equity and Debt Capital Markets in the region. Between 2008 and 2010, Marzio was responsible for Deutsche Banks Global Markets business in Tokyo and member of the Global Markets Management Committee. Marzio has over 23 years of experience in global markets. He holds a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering and Management from Technical University Berlin as well as Masters of Science in Management from M.I.T.’s Sloan School)


Raymond Chong

Director, APAC

Raymond has over 25 years of experience in renewable energy and telecommunications. Most recently, Raymond served as the COO of Charisma Energy Services Ltd, a listed Singapore company. He led the acquisition of a hydro power company in Sri Lanka with 43 MW of operating plants and subsequently managed the operations while expanding the company’s portfolio in Hydro and Solar through 2018. He has developed more than 300MW in PV worldwide and holds a Master degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from École Supérieure d'Ingénieurs en Électrotechnique et Électronique (ESIS)


Jason Block

Director

Jason is a Director of MRE and a Founding Partner at Maiora Asset Management, MRE's strategic funding partner. Since 2012 he’s guided the firm’s investments in over 800 MW of solar PV projects globally. Prior to Maiora, Jason was a Director at Deutsche Bank in Tokyo where he helped establish Deutsche’s mezzanine debt business for non-recourse commercial real estate loans. Jason has over 15 years experience in financial markets and has lived in Japan for 18 years. He holds a B.A from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and speaks English, Japanese and Chinese. 


Sergio Asenjo

Head of Maiora Renewable Energy Global

Sergio was the Business Line Manager for the PV business and the Worldwide Manager of the Center of Competence Solar Business at ABB. He has led operations in more than 14 countries with more than 4 GW developed in PV and 1.6 GW built worldwide, including 300 MW in Europe, 200MW in Africa 550 MW in the Americas and Americas 550 MW in Asia. Sergio has extensive experience in complex automation and electrical systems on CSP technologies with more than 1GW units on the spread,He holds an Electronic’s Engineering degree and an MBA from Instituto de Empresa business sc


MRE signed a lease agreement in June to build

MRE signed a lease agreement in June to build, own and operate a 510 kWp rooftop solar system with a major Philippine based manufacturer. Building will commence in September 2019.
