Philippines Project II

Maiora Renewable Energy has signed a joint venture agreement with a Philippin0 Partner to design, build and own a hybrid power generation plant. The hybrid generation system shall provide energy to an off-grid electric corporative in the region of Mindanao, Philippines. The system design comprises of 17MWe of diesel generator, 5MWp solar panels situated across approximately 7ha of land. In addition to these, there shall be Energy Storage System (ESS) of 1MWH for demand optimization and RE smoothing in the system. All components of the hybrid generation systems will be managed by a start-of-art control system from ABB. Remote monitoring system will be used in the system.

Maiora’s hybrid generation installation is estimated to generate around 60,000MWh per annum based on historical climate data and saving the client over $4million per year in generation cost. Maiora made sure that the project strictly followed the Philippine Electric Code guidelines for the grid connection within the electric cooperative’s distribution networks.

Philippines Project I

Maiora Renewable Energy has signed a rooftop solar lease agreement with a significant manufacturer in the Philippines. The system design comprises of 1,326 x 385Watt solar panels situated across approximately 4000 sq.m of roof space. Maiora’s 510 kW installation is estimated to generate around 650,000kWh per annum based on historical climate data and saving the client over $125,000 per year in electricity bills. Maiora made sure that the project strictly followed the Philippine Electric Code guidelines for the connection of Embedded Generation within distribution networks.
